Driving in southeastern Wisconsin yesterday afternoon and spotted a group of Sandhill Cranes in a roadside field. I pulled over and was able to shoot these images out of the car window! Such majestic birds.
Had the opportunity to photograph the wood creations of talented local woodcarver Mary Schwabenlander (watch for her website this summer!).
This dog, who spent his first few months in Tenessee, is definately right at home here in Wisconsin winters now!
Succulents are fascinating plants. They store moisture in their tissues, which allows them to survive relatively long periods of drought. Provide them with sunshine and fast draining soil and they will reward you with long lasting beauty.
Thank you, Stephanie, for allowing me to put together a web presence for your pet supply shop, Bark & Beg Boutique, in downtown Delafield. I love the store, and I had a lot of fun photographing your inventory and creating your website!
Ichiro and Samareh Guitar & Vocal Duo at Mama D's Coffee in Wales. Beautiful music!
In 2016 I had the opportunity to work in conjunction with Landworks, Inc. to highlight some of their exceptional landscape designs and installations with my photography.
Landworks, and Landscape Designer Robert Diel, received the prestigious Gold Award for their work at the annual WMA Excellence in Hardscaping Awards Program.
It was such fun to share in the celebration as my friend, Diana Markus, opened her THIRD Mama D's Coffeehouse. This one is located at Depot Crossing on Highway 83 in Genesee Depot. You'll also find a Mama D's in Wales and one in Waukesha. They each have their own unique character and charm. Hope you'll visit!
Our continued single digit weather has kept the outdoors quiet.
The New Year begins with winter quiet. Here's hope for a peaceful continuation of the year.
This has been a week of celebrating with family & friends.
Merry Christmas to all!
A cold winter day on the Farm.
Very excited to have the opportunity to create a web presence for a local woman who makes gourmet treats for dogs. All human grade ingredients. Two varieties are even Gluten Free! Thanks, Robin, for allowing me to assist you with this venture.
Honored to be invited to present a program on Photography at the Museum of Wisconsin Art on Tuesday, November 8.
Voted one of the top ten Botanical Gardens in the United States, Olbrich Botanical Gardens never disappoints. Spectacular in all season, it is a particular standout in the Autumn
A little time spent planting hardy bulbs now, at a time of year when working in the garden has lost its appeal, will bring big rewards next spring! Just completed planting 200 Daffodils, 50 Allium bulgaricum (pictured), 25 Allium christophii (syn. A. albopilosum), and 25 Oriental Lilies. Looking forward to spring! :)
How privileged I feel to have had the opportunity to be a part of this joyous and beautiful celebration!
